Mat Bond Test

Описание: This Mat Bond test is required to make sure that the concrete with barrier one admixture is suitable for installing nora rubber tiles and Tarkett carpet tile. 3 different areas were tested: Bare Concrete, Skim Coat and Self Leveler. The first day we buffed the foreign materials off the slab, ground to a CSP (concrete surface profile) of 2-3, skim coated an area, poured self leveler and installed on the skimmed and bare concrete. The second day we went back to install on the self leveler. It sat over the holiday weekend and then we went to do the pull test. As you can see in the video, the best method is self leveler, the second best is a skim coat, and the bare concrete did not perform well at all. Ambient conditions were kept and loaded into a file for project managers and manufacturers to review.
