교보생명은 서울의 중심지, 국제 업무 지구, 행정과 금융의 중심에 입지한 본사 사옥을 문화 공간을 포함한 글로벌 금융, 업무 중심 빌딩으로 자리매김하기 위해 리모델링을 계획했다. 리모델링의 기본방향은 개방적이고 자연 친화적인 공용부 계획, 현대적 업무환경의 조성, 열린 이미지의 외관 계획, 기존 언어를 존중하는 계획 등을 통해 교보생명의 위상을 재정립하고, ‘인간가치존중’의 브랜드 철학을 구현하는데 있다. 이를 위해 입면 계획은 현재의 친근한 이미지를 존중하면서 성장지향적 변화를 추구한다는 개념으로 계획했다.
Kyobo Life Insurance planned a remodeling of the headquarters located in the center of Seoul, a mecca of international business district, administration, and financing, in order to become the global financing and work-centered building. The main direction of the remodeling is to reposition the status of Kyobo Life Insurance and realization of the brand philosophy 'Respect for Human Value' through planning for openness and nature-friendly public space, forming of modern working environment, planning for exterior with an image of openness, and planning for respect for existing architectural language.
