Racquet Strings [5 Racquet String Materials - Episode 1]

Описание: I recently posted a poll asking how many materials are used to make today’s racquet strings. Here are the 5 choices and the results.
• 3 - 20%
• 4 - 20%
• 5 - 27%
• 6 - 20%
• Other - 15%

If you answered incorrectly, here are the 5 materials.
• Nylon – synthetic gut & multifilament
• Polyester – co-polyesters
• Natural Gut
• Aramid Fiber – Kevlar
• Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) – marketed as Zyex

Although the first Zyex monofilament string was introduced in 2012, only a few people know about or use this PEEK string made by US company, Ashaway Strings. This string was innovated in the US and is manufactured in the UK. And though I learned of this string a while back, it wasn’t until 3 years ago that I started carrying it.
