If you’re thinking about installing a dark patterned wallpaper, do this first.
Head to your local paint store and request them to tint a can of primer a dark tint. The primer itself will allow for a fresh surface for the wallpaper to properly adhere to, while the dark tint will help disguise any gaps in between wallpaper panel seams.
With primer you only need to wait 24 hours before applying wallpaper on top. If you opt to apply paint to your walls instead you’ll need to wait 30 days for it to fully cure.
