Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways
In this video we have a day with The Mainline Steam Tribal Chief.
The Sir Nigel Gresley Locomotive Trust's A4 pacific 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley during the members day for the trust which was being held at The Bluebell Railway in Sussex a week after his starring roll during the railway's Giants of Steam Gala.
Conditions to start with was very foggy during the morning as we see Sir Nigel come off shed to join his waiting train at Sheffield Park station which then gave us the opportunity to have a look round the loco in great detail including exclusive footplate access after being asked to come & have a look round by the support team.
During the day the weather cleared resulting in perfect sunshine.
We also feature on board non-stop footage from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead apart from stopping for a signal check just outside Hosted Keynes station.
