The Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory (LCEI) is a government funded project that generates collaborations between local industry and academia. At the University of Liverpool, LCEI provides the opportunity for those collaborations to include student projects, or internships where a student will be matched up to a business that is requiring support with their sustainability strategy or decarbonisation project.
This has been a very successful collaboration, providing businesses with much needed research, knowledge and resource and for the student; high quality, real life industry consultation and problem solving experience. Our students have been very positive and benefitted highly from having this experience and opportunity to apply their studies to real industry requirements - experience which will boost their CV's, confidence and employability.
We would like to thank all of our students that have worked with LCEI over the years and wish them the best of luck in the pursuit of their careers.
