The Tarangire National Park is 1600 square miles, and it’s Tanzania’s 5th largest park. The Tarangire River keeps animals well-nourished during the dry season so it is an excellent place to see African wildlife and animals on a safari. The dry season is the ideal time to visit Tarangire, and the park has so much to offer guests. World Wide Trekking likes to stay at the Balloon Camp in Tarangire and do a morning hot-air balloon ride over the national park before doing our game drives for the day.
