A little Halloween special bonus lesson! We learn a chord melody for Vince Guaraldi’s beautiful “Great Pumpkin Waltz” from the Charlie Brown Halloween Special. If you haven’t checked Vince’s soundtracks for the Charlie Brown seasonal specials, I highly recommend you go and explore them. His most famous piece is undoubtably “Christmas Time is Here” (from the Christmas special soundtrack), which is an incredibly pretty, yet somber Christmas themed jazz standard! I plan to do a lesson on that one too, but as it’s October, we’ll start with my favourite track of his Halloween special record.. I hope you enjoy the lesson.
