From Scratch: Crafting My Own Animatronic Vtuber Puppet

Описание: Wanted to stream with a vTuber while standing out in the crowd? All my graphics design skills are terrible so I came up with this fun solution, a physical vtuber puppet!

The video does a good job explaining the basics of how I set up everything to stream with, but there was a few more technical things I didn't want to fit into it.

1) Why did the motors die? Temperamental power supply was also a cause of a lot of problems, certain movements start drawing so much power that the voltage can drop, leading to even more problems. When the base motor spun out and pulled the cables I did not realize it actually damaged the USB cable, which then caused motors to malfunction more often like a bad feedback loop.

2) Animatronic eyes are something I've been working on for a long time, the problem is the puppets eyes bulge outwards, and many eye designs are just trying to mimic human eyes which 1) are recessed into the head and can help hide the eyelids and 2) both facing directly forward. It's making some slow progress though.
