The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has initiated a major crackdown on the sale of prohibited ghee and adulterated milk in Rahim Yar Khan, ensuring the provision of safe and quality food to the public.

I. PFA Operation and Seizure ❌
Leadership: The large-scale operation was conducted under the leadership of the Director Operations South (ڈائریکٹر آپریشنز ساؤتھ) of the Punjab Food Authority.

Seized & Destroyed: PFA officials seized and destroyed a huge quantity of prohibited and substandard food items:

Substandard Ghee (غیر معیاری گھی): 2,000 kilograms (2 ہزار کلو) of substandard ghee was immediately destroyed (تلف).

Adulterated Milk (ملاوٹی دودھ): Action was also taken against vendors selling adulterated milk.

II. Penalties and Legal Action ⚖️
Ghee Unit Penalty: The unit involved in the production of substandard ghee was heavily fined Rs 130,000 (1 لاکھ 30 ہزار روپے).

Milk Shop Action: A milk shop found in violation had its production shut down (پروڈکشن بند), and a case was registered (مقدمہ درج) against the owner.

The Punjab Food Authority affirmed its resolve to continue such strict actions to protect the public from health hazards caused by substandard and adulterated food.
