I’m 70 years old, and BodyPump is part of my training for strength and endurance.
This isn’t heavy lifting — it’s weight conditioning:
• Moderate weight
• High repetitions
• Full-body muscular endurance
In my weekly routine:
• I lift heavy weights twice a week
• I do BodyPump once a week for conditioning and volume
I use a body bar (15, 20, and 25 lbs) because it feels better resting across my upper back and allows smooth, controlled movement through high-rep sets.
This combination keeps me strong, resilient, and able to recover — which matters more than ever as we age.
Strength is built in layers.
