Incidents of note:
🚓 CRIME STATISTICS: Year To Date and This Month vs. Last Month.
🔫 ASSAULT 2ND shot and wounded outside Six-Twelve Convenience Store, Huntington Station. ARREST MADE.
🔫 ROBBERY 1ST with a rifle - 3 other robberies in other precincts match. Arrest made.
🔫 UPDATE on October ROBBERY at "Spa" on Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station - armed with handguns. AREST MADE in November.
🚓 BURGLARY 2ND unlocked car with garage door opener - suspects entered the house on Windward Court, Dix Hills and stole sneakers.
🔫 RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT 1ST gunshots fired on Armell St, Huntington Station - no injuries. Property owners refused to cooperate.
🚓 MASSAGE PARLOR ARRESTS with Town of Huntington – Season Natural Spa, Dix Hills. 2 Arrests made, 10 Violations.
🔫 SEARCH WARRANT on Roosevelt Street, East Northport. Illegal drugs, paraphernalia & sawed off shotgun. Arrest made.
🚓 STATE LIQUOR AUTHORITY (SLA) INVESTIGATION WITH TOWN at La Hacienda Restaurant, Huntington Station - Gambling in basement & 5 violations.
🚓 STATE LIQUOR AUTHORITY (SLA) INVESTIGATION WITH TOWN at Las Lajas Deli, Huntington Station - Disorderly Premise, Illegal Drugs, Criminal Contempt & 4 violations. 3 Arrests Made.
🚓 LARCENY PATROL at Walt Whitman Shops, Huntington Station. 1 arrest made for stolen jacket from Saks Fifth Avenue. 2 juveniles released for stolen polo shirt from Macy's.
🚭 VAPE SHOP COMPLIANCE CHECKS at Huntington Village Vapes and Canna Culture. 2 Arrests made, 86 boxes of illegal marijuana and vape products seized. 3 Town Violations.
🚓 SITE TEAM TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT on 3 DATES – Visited 6 locations of concern and issued 61 summonses.
🚓 2 GANG MEMBERS ARRESTED – MS-13 + 9 Other Arrests by Anti-Crime. TOTAL ARRESTS: 146.
🚓 DOMESTIC INCIDENTS: 187 with 68 Criminal and 19 Arrests.
🚓 OVERDOSES: Non-Fatal = 4 in Huntington, Dix Hills, Melville and Fort Salonga.
🎯 SHOT SPOTTER: 5 activations with 1 positive result at 12 Academy Place, Huntington Station - Assault 2nd.
🚓 REMINDERS TO STAY SAFE: Lock your doors. Don’t leave valuables in the car. Don’t leave keys in the car. Don’t leave valuables in shopping carts. Set video devices to record and check them regularly.
🚓 REMINDERS ABOUT SCAMS: Gift Cards = Scam. Beware of Mail Theft and Check Washing. Phone call of relative arrested and asking you to post Bail Money = Scam. Pop up on Computer (Virus Protection) do NOT let anyone remotely access your home computer! Beware of known phone numbers being spoofed for caller ID = Latest are SCPD and NY State Police numbers with callers asking for money = SCAM! Call from "Bank Representative" to withdraw all your money - DO NOT speak with bank employees as they may be in on it - Call the corporate phone number.
