Organic Food Shopping at the Olhao Markets!

Olhão is the largest #fishing port of the #algarve and is only 10 minutes from #faro by car or train so I like to come here to get incredible, fresh, organic produce and good fish and meat. Located between the historic area and the Ria Formosa, the Olhão Markets are a must-visit destination! Although this video was done on a Monday morning, I highly recommend visiting on a Saturday morning when the town market square is hustling and bustling with local farmers and customers.

As you can see in the video, Olhão is the gateway to some of the most beautiful islands of Portugal (Farol, Culatra, and Armona) and it is also a great starting point to discover the natural park of Ria Formosa.

I will need to take a water taxi or the ferry to show you those islands so stay tuned for that video in the future.
