Описание: Alice Osborn sings "A One-Time Hero," one of her originals. This song is about Benedict Arnold, the great American traitor, who actually was a great hero until greed, debt and ego pushed him into siding with the British. I sang this song on October 26, 2015 during Monday Night Music & Poetry when I was the featured poet for my new book, HEROES WITHOUT CAPES (www.AliceOsborn.com). I chose to write this song because not many people know about Benedict Arnold's true story--his story is very much the original American "fall from grace" story. Fortunately for him, Arnold lived a long life and experienced many second and third acts.
