This week the WaveTalkers crew dives into Best Practices for EmComm Nets. We will approach the topic from the perspective of the roles of the Net Control Operator and a Participant in emergency communication nets and activations.

We will begin with an exploration of the similarities and differences between regular EmComm Nets and Activations. The conversation will look at common EmComm Net formats, scripts for the net control operators, best practices for handling the role of Net Control and more.

Next we will provide best practices guidance for participating in an EmComm Net or Activation including how to get the most out of the experience and how to be a good operator.

We will wrap up Episode 80 with an after party for all of those joining us in the Zoom. We would love to hear about your Local EmComm Nets.
