Teacher: Alright, Danny! Are you ready for your historical presentation on Gandhi?
Danny: Oh yeah!
Teacher: What's that?
Danny: Nothin’…

He studied law
but no justice he saw.
Traveled ‘round
kept getting pushed to the ground.

The British claimed
the way it is would stay the same.
Please pardon me,
but he'd disagree!

What would he do?
Would he scream and yell and throw his fists at you?

He would do nothing! Peacefully!
He would disobey the rules they'd say, but do it civilly!

They were louder,
he was right!
They were larger,
he was right!
they had weapons,
he was right,
and he could play this game all night!

He will not king you or dice throw
First one out in music chairs
He would not do chutes or ladders
And if he'd race Mario’s Kart
He'd just be sitting at the start!

He would do nothing! Peacefully!
Just a tiny Hindu fellow against the British monarchy!
He would do nothing, peacefully!
And his force of truth, will come at you,
and wash you away!

They call him father in his land,
his sandaled feet in shifting sand.
The toughest nice guy on the block.
You gotta problem then he’ll walk.

If that truth is hard to swallow
try a hunger strike awhile!

He would do nothing! Peacefully!
He fought as hard as Rocky without getting as sweaty!
He would do nothing, peacefully!

And I hope this presentation just got me an A!
