Описание: 220 reef system with Mangrove. System was set up June 2015 and mangrove was added Fall 2015. Filtration is a cryptic refugium with less than 1X turnover. Main sump has about 5X turnover. No additional water movement. No skimmer, occasionally a small reactor is used with GAC and GFO. Occasionally bicarbonate is added for alkalinity. Source water is from household water softener then through a carbon filter and stored in a 55 gallon barrel with a couple cups of magnesium carbonate sitting in the bottom. Mangrove is spritzed weekly to remove salt buildup and to reduce magnesium demand of the Mangrove.
