A great-grandma of six celebrates her 100th birthday which has been made extra special thanks to her neighbours and family.
Joyce Alexander from Wideopen amazes everyone she meets with her health and fulfilment of life.
After surviving World War Two and now a pandemic, her outgoing nature has led her to live a long and happy life.
This morning, she was greeted by dozens of her neighbours who decorated the front of her home and sang happy birthday to her. She then continued her celebrations with her close family in her house.
The 100-year-old said: “I have so many lovely friends and neighbours and them giving me their support makes me feel proud and content.
