As mentioned a while ago, my goal is to go back and make rankings on past years of Eurovision, with 1990 being up next, the final remaining year left to cover of the 90's!
The 1990 contest of Eurovision took place in the Yugoslavia, in Zagreb - what nowadays is the capital of Croatia. A total of 22 countries competed this year, with no changes in competitors compared to the 1989 edition.
The 1990 contest was won by Italy, achieving a second victory with Toto Cutugno's "Insieme: 1992". France, finished in 2nd place with Joëlle Ursull's "White And Black Blues". Third place was achieved by Ireland with Liam Reilly's "Somewhere in Europe".
