This is a compilation of videos I managed to record during my maiden journey on the Delhi-Yesvantpur Duronto Express in the early morning light as it traversed the final stretch of its long journey. I was lucky enough to travel in it just before the diesel link was permanently changed to electric. This train now runs with a WAP7 for the entirety of its journey, with none of the old school diesel charm.
With an average speed of over 70kph, this train is the fastest connection between New Delhi and Bengaluru - it takes just under 33 hours to complete its 2300+km journey.
About the short diesel journey in daytime - I'll let the video speak for itself. :)
