"Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem:
praise your God, O Zion.
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates:
He has blessed your children within you.
He has placed peace within your borders:
and fills you with the finest of wheat.
He sends forth his commandment upon the earth:
his word runs swiftly.
He gives snow like wool:
and scatters hoarfrost like ashes.
He sends his ice like morsels:
who will stand before the force of his cold?
He will send forth his word, and will melt them:
His wind shall blow, and the waters shall flow.
He proclaims his word to Jacob,
His laws and justices to Israel.
He did not do such to each nation:
He did not make his judgements known to them.
