Описание:
Aloka, a stray dog from India, is walking 2,300 miles across
America with 19 Buddhist monks on their Walk for Peace. When
she was hit by a car and needed surgery, she refused to stay
behind—jumping from their support truck multiple times to
rejoin the monks. This is her incredible story of loyalty,
sacrifice, and what it means to never give up on family.
🐕 THE STORY OF ALOKA:
Found as a stray on the streets of Kolkata, India, Aloka
followed Buddhist monks for over 1,000 kilometers. When they
returned to the United States, they raised $14,000 to bring
her to Texas. Now she's walking 2,300 miles from Fort Worth
to Washington DC, teaching America about loyalty in a divided
time.

🙏 ABOUT THE WALK FOR PEACE:
Led by Bhikkhu Pannakara, 19 Buddhist monks began walking
2,300 miles from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington DC in
October 2025. Three monks, including the leader, walk
barefoot. The journey promotes peace, unity, and compassion
in divided America. Learn more: [official website if available]
💔 THE ACCIDENT:
On November 19, 2025, near Dayton, Texas, the group was hit
by a pickup truck. Bhante Dam Phommasan, a senior monk from
Atlanta, suffered a shattered leg and chose amputation to
return to service. His message: "I have lost a leg, but I
have not lost my peace."
🏥 ALOKA'S SURGERY:
In January 2026, Aloka tore her cranial cruciate ligament
and required major surgery in Charleston, South Carolina.
She reunited with the monks on January 15th in Charlotte,
North Carolina. The reunion video has been viewed over 8
