DIY Pool Pump Fence to hide and silence your Pool Pump !!! (2021)

Описание: In this video, I completed a project that I had put off for a while on my own house. We were never really sure how or what we wanted to but we knew we needed something. Not only did the area stick out like a sore thumb, but at the time, I didn't have a variable speed pump and the original was LOUD. I decided to stick with the vertical layout for the panels to follow suite with the exterior panels of the house. I beveled the edges of the 1’x3’ stock in order to give more definition to the joints. I did need to pour one footing for one post but for the others, I simply used a standard Simpson Tie post bracket that bolt straight to the floor. The Hardware for the hinges were actually salvaged from a TV show I worked on that had wrapped and was just going to toss them. I matched the fence to the color of the house which makes it virtually disappear. The top is open to allow for venting of the Heater but in no way takes away from the sound damping of the panels. This is a super easy project that anyone can do that owns a saw and a nail gun.
