The 30 Punjab unit of the Indian Army successfully conducted a porter recruitment drive today at Balnoi Sagra in Sub-District Mendhar, District Poonch.
A significant number of local youth participated in the recruitment, reflecting strong community interest and enthusiasm. The initiative was aimed at generating employment opportunities for the local population and enhancing civil-military cooperation in the border region.
The Indian Army continues to remain committed to the welfare and development of the local communities while also strengthening the bond between the armed forces and the civilians.
