So, after breaking my poor little Z50 I had a an opportunity to upgrade to the Nikon Z5. In this video I talk about why I went for the Z5 and not the Z6 or Z7 in either it’s first or second flavours or even the Z9. There are substantial hidden costs in any of the other cameras in the Z range on top of the cost of upgrading to the next model in the line.
And that costs is hidden in the card slots. The Z5 uses simple sd cards and that works for me. Equally I won’t feel guilty if I don’t put the latest and greatest Z mount S line lens on it freeing me up to continue my love hate affair with the ftz adapter and f mount lenses.
Any way enough camera waffle. I end up in an old abandoned quarry in the dark, then inside a giant head made from woven sticks. Eventually finishing up at a 1000 year old church and a very weak Milky Way selfie.
