MM Talks At Lahore Literary Festival 2022

Описание: The Lahore Literary Festival is the city’s premier free-to-public cultural event. LLF explores the dialogue and interface between literature and the arts that shape our cultural, social, economic, and political frameworks. Founded by Razi Ahmed in 2012, the Festival aims to bring together, discuss, and celebrate the diverse and pluralistic literary traditions of Lahore—a city of the arts, activism, and big ideas.

LLF features discussions on a variety of subjects—fiction and nonfiction writing, music, painting, filmmaking, architecture, politics—to reclaim and employ Lahore’s rich and varied literary traditions. The 10th annual edition of the Lahore Literary Festival took place at the Alhamra Art Center, Lahore, on March 18th – 20th, 2022. LLF2022 featured a dazzling array of acclaimed international and national authors and artists in thought-provoking panel discussions. This year’s speakers included, among others, Marc Baer (The Ottomans), Ahdaf Soueif (The Map of Love), Beth Gardiner (Choked) and Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai (The Mountains Sing).

MM Talks visited the vibrant Alhamra Arts Center to support LLF and catch up with all it has to offer this year.
