I'm up to the stage of doing all the bottom end checks on my Holden 308 red motor, before assembly begins. This includes main & rod bearing oil clearances, main & rod bearing crush, and crankshaft end float. This is part 1 of 3, the main bearing oil clearance checks and also crankshaft end float. I did a first attempt at bearing crush checks too, but only on the #5 main bearing.
