Ted lives with his partner, Josie, in the house his great-great-grandfather built on their farm in Sudbury, Vermont, where they’ve shared a life rooted in farming for 50 years. While no longer chasing a paycheck, Ted still works with a pair of Belgians on the farm and enjoys passing on what he’s learned. He sees himself as a living link between the old-timers he grew up with—who spent their lives farming with horses—and the young people who give him hope for the future. You can find stories from his lifelong journey with draft animals on his blog.
