As part of our ongoing video series on how a bus is built right here in upstate New York - join NAmTrans Director Joel Wood as he goes on the job at Nova Bus in Plattsburgh.
First opened in 2009, this approximately 140,000 sq ft facility houses hundreds of North Country employees who are building the buses that transport folks in cities all across the country - from New York to Houston to Chicago and soon to Milwaukee.
As Nova Bus has continued to grow and invest in Plattsburgh, they've invested in new technologies like electric buses that'll soon be built in the building behind me. And as they've continued to grow and invest in our region, so have their suppliers. And that means more jobs and an even greater positive economic impact, here in Plattsburgh.
