Roni Size & Reprazent- Maida Vale 1997 (decent audio from 5m 40s!) WHOLE SET!

Описание: This is one of my all time fave D&B sets. I waited for years for this to appear on Youtube, but all of the versions i found had really poor audio (as vhs video was never known for its audio quality)
BUT....i had a fairly decent tape rip of the same set, as it was broadcast simultaneously on BBC2 and Radio 1....and i recorded the set on a decent quality cassette, but missed the first 5 minutes.
So, what i have done here is grabbed the video uploaded by Youtube user cookinRST and then spliced the better audio from my cassette onto his footage. This might sound easy enough, but recordings on cassette fluctuate in speed....so in order to match my audio to the video i had to re-pitch the whole thing down by around 1.7824% as audio cassettes fluctuate in speed...but so do video tapes!!!!...so even though the audio was pitched down to the right speed, i then i had to go back into the video and make around 150+ edits to make it all sync up.. (if i left both the audio and video as they were, the audio from my cassette was about 2 minutes longer than the video...this might give you and idea of how much effort went into this!!)
..was it worth the effort?...OF COURSE...as this is epic and a part of D&B history!!!!! Thanks for viewing, and thanks to cookinRST on Youtube, who i ripped the video from (un-knowingly!) :)
