Our next mission was the 7 hour uphill battle to get to Namche, described as the mountains Kathmandu!
It was TOUGH!! The steep uphill climbs are no joke & really take a toll on your attitude towards the mountains (it becomes a love hate relationship!)
Once we reached Namche, we were thrilled!! & rewarded ourselves with chocolate cake of course! Theres loads of shops / cafes up here to choose from.
We stayed in Namche for 2 nights so that we were able to acclimatise as we are now 3400m up!
On our acclimatisation hike, we get to 3900m and are rewarded with clear views of EVEREST! Gosh isnt she tall! We couldnt have asked for a clearer view so that definitley made the 1 hour climb up worth it.
