I had the pleasure of attending The Met Museum's newest exhibit, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, on the very first day of its opening, and it was everything and more! This year's Met Gala shared the same theme of Black style and dandyism, and the looks from that night were amazing! But this exhibit allows us to take a deeper look into the history of Black culture and how certain style choices came to be. I learned so much, and left so inspired! I encourage all of you watching to head to The Met and experience this wonderful exhibit for yourselves. Remember to get some books by Black authors on your way out as well!
