Classic WoW - AQ40 Shadow Priest High DPS/Parse Boss Highlights

This video is a compilation of high-end Horde Shadow Priest DPS for the following bosses from my most recent AQ40 run:
Bug Trio (Optional) (98 Parse)
Battleguard Sartura (99 Parse)
Princess Huhuran (97 Parse)
Twin Emperors (95 Parse)

I forgot to hit record for Fankriss the Unyeilding unfortunately, but I also achieved a 99 parse on that fight.

For these fights I opted to forgo gear that would keep me at +16% hit cap, in favour of more +spell crit, +spell damage, and +intellect and mana per 5sec gear. Hence I am wearing both the Tier 2.5 chest and helm and sitting at +14% spell hit. I feel that there needs to be a right balance of mana pool and power so you don't run out of mana and you can clip your mindflays to maximize the DPS potential. Furthermore I altered my template to remove the shadow tree threat reduction in order to gain 3/5 Mental Agility in the Discipline Tree (6% mana reduction on instant cast spells - EG: Shadow Word: Pain). The only time I was in much danger was on Battleguard Sartura in regards to threat - and maybe once or twice on Twin Emps.

I had full raid buffs and world buffs, including Darkmoon Faire damage buff. I lost my Songflower and Rend buffs for Princess Huhuran and Twin Emps. My kills on Ouro and C'thun were well parsed but were without any world buffs, so I opted to not include them. Prophet Skeram was well parsed, but its a boring fight to watch, and Viscidus can go to hell.

In the future I will be recording our full parse attempts in their whole, much like I did for BWL before in phase 4.

While the gameplay isn't perfect, I think its a good showcase of the potential Shadow Priests can achieve. And I'm still wearing 2-pieces from the Rank 10 PVP set! I did win the Boots of Epiphany off Twin Emps tonight!
