A set from the tunebook of the Cambridge University Ceilidh Band. Our thanks to them.

Two Angus Polkas, plus Charlie McKerron's Polka and Donegal Barn Dance.

Recorded at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, 15 July 2012.

The band is an open access band and we welcome new players from SOAS and from the public at large. No audition. Just turn up.

We rehearse once a week during term time (Friday evenings, Room L67, 7.00pm).

We play ceilidh dances at SOAS and at various venues around London.

When we've raised enough funds by playing dances, we like to go on tour. Recent tours have included Istanbul, Italy and Palestine.

In 2012/13 we shall return to Istanbul for St Patrick's Night (17 March 2013), and we shall also be heading to Paris (February 2013) and Lisbon (July 2013). Long term plans include touring to Tehran in 2014.
