AEMC® - 6240 Micro Ohmmeter - Part 1 - Usage and Capabilities

Описание: In this first of a two-part series, we introduce AEMC Instrument’s Micro-Ohmmeter Model 6240, a rugged low resistance tester designed for both indoor and field use. The Model 6240 employs the Kelvin testing method to measure resistance from 5 μOhm to 400 Ohm with 1 μOhm accuracy, for applications as diverse as testing metallic coatings, grounding systems, cables, motors and small transformers, terminal connections, and railway bonding. In this video, we explain the basics of the Model 6240 user interface. Next, we perform a simple measurement test, using a 166.6 μOhm. (The data obtained in this test will be featured in Part 2 of this series.) We then save the test in the instrument’s memory and view it on the instrument’s LCD. We conclude by briefly demonstrating the Auto feature, which automatically saves tests with each connection and disconnection of the instrument’s probes.
