Kimberley Solo Adventure Part 2: New Camp & Fishing the Fitzroy River

Описание: In this episode of my solo Kimberley adventure, I push further up the Fitzroy River (Martuwarra) and set up at a new riverside camp. With the morning sun lighting up the red cliffs and the river flowing strong, it’s the perfect spot to settle in and spend the day fishing.

Out here it’s just me, the river, and the Kimberley bush. I try my luck casting from the bank, soaking up the peace of the day while keeping an eye out for what might be lurking beneath the water. Between setting up camp, exploring the area, and fishing under the hot Kimberley sun, this day on the Fitzroy really captures what solo travel out here is all about.

The Kimberley has always felt like it’s been calling me home – and with a fishing rod in hand and this river stretching out before me, I can feel why.
