Srisailam-Hyderabad Highway: The Saleshwaram Kshetram is located in dense forests, about 20 kilometers from the Tiger Reserve Point. Known as the "South Indian Amarnath Yatra," the "Saleshwaram Lingamayya Jatara" begins after Ugadi and continues for three days, concluding on Chaitra Purnima.
Devotees consider it a blessing from past lives to have the darshan of "Swami Lingamayya" after crossing a natural waterfall deep in the valley, amidst towering hills and thick forests. Undeterred by rocks and rough terrain, they trek nearly 4 kilometers in an adventurous journey to seek the Lord’s blessings.
Throughout the pilgrimage, devotees chant "Vattannam Vattannam Lingamayyo" (We are coming, Lingamayya!) while going and "Pothunnam Pothunnam Lingamayyo" (We are leaving, Lingamayya!) on their way back, filling the path with divine echoes of devotion.
