This is a build that I have been trying to complete for the past year. I have been putting it off for the longest time, and just when I thought I had finally finished building it, the USBC port just broke off before the sound test. I guess this project will be delayed yet again until I can find the will to desolder the board just to fix that one USBC port.
Build-wise, I am very happy with the outcome, as this is the first linear Alps build that I have ever attempted, and will probably stay as the only one in my collection. With the PC bottom on the Danchou TKL, it certainly makes the sound so much better. The weights were removed as well to make the overall build sound a little more roomy.
The board is built with the following specs:
SKCL Green Alps, Wax Boiled, Dry Lubed with PFTE Powder
1.2mm POM Plate
Typeplus for mods, AEK Stab on Spacebar
Doubleshot ABS Keycaps, feel like SP but I could not confirm the origin
FR4 PCB
The board is recorded with Audio-Technica AT2020USB-X at no audio gain. We recommend using headphones for the best experience.
