We all know that security lines at our nations airports are getting longer and longer as more and more security steps are put into place. However the TSA Precheck program can help you avoid those long and annoying lines but what happens when you have children traveling with you. Welcome back to cops court and coffee I'm Darnell Eason. So the question for today is does the TSA PreCheck program extend to children traveling with you? And the answer is yes for your children traveling with you who are12 years old or younger. If you are enrolled in the TSA Precheck program, you can bring your kids age 12 or under with you through the TSA Precheck lane. Now According to the TSA...they state that “Family members ages 12 and under traveling with an eligible parent or guardian with a TSA Precheck indicator on their boarding pass can participate in expedited screening….Family members 13 and older must go through standard security lanes or should apply for a DHS trusted traveler program.”
