The A421 runs for 44 miles / 72km, from the roundabout with the A43 at RAF Croughton, south of Brackley in Northamptonshire, via Buckingham, Milton Keynes and Bedford, to the A1 at the "Black Cat" junction between Sandy and St Neots. It forms the largest part of the route between Oxford and Cambridge that has previously been proposed for a number of upgrades. Much of the route is now dual carriageway, but some single carriageway sections remain.
This video shows a westbound journey along the A421 Buckingham Bypass, from the easternmost roundabout with the A413 heading north, to the westernmost roundabout for the A413 heading south.
