On the second chapter of our Wyoming trip, we explored the green rolling hills and roaring rivers of Yellowstone National Park early in the backpacking season. Our route was in the northern areas of the park and even crossed into Montana for a couple of nights. Along our way, we saw plenty of animal bones and a run in with a bit too friendly black bear.
