MMORPG Analysis - EverQuest versus EverQuest 2

Описание: Welcome to a new series dedicated to EverQuest and EverQuest 2, a pair of my favorite MMORPGs that, together, have made up a good 15+ years of my gaming experience.

I first started playing EverQuest when it came out; just a few months after launch, and played it as my sole MMORPG until the launch of EverQuest 2, at which point I promptly switched over and played that as my sole MMO until the launch of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

Over the years, I've come back to the EQ franchise multiple times, either on Project 1999 or on the progression servers, but I've never really created any content around my time in these games. I've usually played them for my own enjoyment, with some light streaming from time to time.

That's changed! With the holiday season of 2021 and into 2022, I'm going to be creating a ton of EverQuest and EverQuest 2 content diving into both of the games in the franchise and comparing the two and talking about a slew of things related to these two MMORPGs. Follow along!
