I love my country, and living in the city, I find I can sometimes forget about the beauty and atmosphere of the country I'm living in, and I could be living in just about any city in the world for all the notice I take of my surroundings. This week, I decided to brave the crisp, chilly morning, and take myself off to a quiet spot that's unspoiled by big city buildings, to watch the sunrise, and remind myself of the unforgettable sight and smell of the bushveld first thing in the morning (There's nothing like it!).
I also took the opportunity of extra time on this Saturday, to bake one of my favourite quinoa bread recipes (https://thehappyfoodie.co.uk/recipes/..., and was reminded of how beautiful a colourful array of fresh groceries can be, if I just stop and take the time to notice them...
