A major update for electricity consumers in Madhya Pradesh — your power bills are set to increase starting next month.

The Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company has announced two key changes:

1️⃣ Increased Security Deposit:
Consumers will now be required to pay a higher security deposit, calculated based on their increased power consumption over the past year. This amount will be collected in three installments, added directly to your monthly electricity bill.

2️⃣ New FPA Charges (Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment):
An additional 4.67% will be charged on the energy charges under FPA. This could mean an extra ₹50 for every 100 units consumed.
