This lectures gives a very brief introduction to mathematical modeling or liquid level systems. The strategy is to write mass balance equations, similar to charge balance equations in electrical systems. The approach is demonstrated with a simple example and then is applied to Coupled Liquid Tank system avaialbe in Control Systems Design Lab at PIEAS. The reference text for this lecture is the book by Ogata.
