Generally it is considered safe to dye the hair during pregnancy. However we do advise pregnant women to use caution to read the ingredients of the product that they are using and to make sure there are no harmful chemicals. It is also advisable that they make sure dye does not touch the root of the hair, because some amount of absorption can occur through the skin and can be dangerous to the fetus. By far it is a safe procedure we do advise them to switch over to more herbal and more organic and safer products for dying hair during pregnancy.
