My first calligraphy set was Speedball Nibs , it took me months to choose between nibs as a beginner didn't know anything about dip pens but with the right guidance I chose speedball.

Recently i have bought Manuscript nib set from Amazon , as it has wide variety of nibs in one beautiful glass box for budding calligraphers.


☻Poster Nib: For bold &large lettering , borders & Posters (6mm)
☻Tape nib: For Italic handwriting , Smooth and versatile (0.5mm ,1mm,2mm,3mm)
☻Round hand/Ornamental nib: for Roman round hand lettering , Gothic & uncial writing styles.(1.5mm,3.5mm,5mm)
☻Crown 41 nib : extra fine tip & flexible ,suitable to write all scripts.
☻Mapping nib: low flexibility , medium tip ,intended for line drawing (least favorite)
☻Crow quill: As it is very small sized & so needs to be re-dipped for inking . It doesn't fit in all nib holders because of its small size
☻Magnet: This box came with a magnet inside with which its easy to pick nibs from the box.
