Only Wood Floors, we sand with 8 or 9 grades of paper. It sounds like a lot but we are taking it off a paper-layer at a time.
We don't want to sand off more wood than we have to but we must sand off enough to get out all of the imperfections.
We fill the cracks and gaps in between each sanding and get the hardwood floor tabletop smooth.
If the wood floor is going to be stained, we treat the flooring and pop the grain. Once that dries we stain the hardwood any color.
Then we finish with three coats of commercial grade finish.
Every project is different but kinda the same.
We work with the hardwood floor, sanding it, loving it, sanding it, until it's own beauty shines through.
Clients think we are miracle makers, or artist, but in reality it is the hardwood floor that makes us look good ;)
