How to make jump rings using this handy tool!

I’ve always wrapped wire around a mandrel and cut them by hand. It’s a bit fiddly and slow, but it works! I never really thought I needed a tool like this… until now.

But if you make a lot of jump rings (like we do!) or work on chain or production pieces, then this jump ring making tool can really speeds things up!

We’re still sawing the coil afterwards (you’ll see that in this video — and once you know the masking tape trick, it’s actually really easy) but the former gives you a neat, quick, and consistent coil to start with.
