Rakesh Roshan is an Indian film producer, director, screenwriter, and actor who works in Hindi films. He was born as Rakesh Roshan Lal Nagrath on 6 September 1949 in Bombay, Province of Bombay, British India. His father Roshanlal Nagrathwas an Indian music director. His mother Ira Roshan was a home maker. Music director and composer Rajesh Roshan is his brother.
He is married to Pinky Roshan. The couple has a son Actor Hrithik Roshan. and a daughter Sunaina Roshan. Hrehaan Roshan, Hridaan Roshan, Suranika Soni are his GrandChildren. He is the uncle of Pashmina Roshan and Eshaan Roshan.
